I wonder if a package of Mauricio Dubon and Jake Gatewood would be enough to get it done (I expect that we’ll go out and get a real 2B for this season, and either Diaz or Hiura will be the 2B of the future, so Dubon’s future role for us would be as a utility guy, and Gatewood is blocked at both 1st and 3rd for years to come, so this would mostly be dealing from depth). Maybe too much to give up for a 1-year guy though? Might instead consider taking these two guys plus someone like Hader/Woodruff/Burnes/Peralta/Ortiz and trying to put together a big package for someone like Chris Archer instead?

If they can get Happ for a reasonable return, I’m all for that though.
