The Cubs, Dodgers, Yankees and Ref Sox want to grind out ABs. Why not throw 3 straight strikes to them?

When everyone is going left it is tough to find the treasure! I think the Brewers are moving right and using an aggressive strategy against the Cubs.

But I think it goes to show just how “throw good strikes” is not a truism — that’s really how you beat batters, even elite ones.

I have always thought the Cubs prey on cobblers. I think the fact that our pitching coach worked in the Cubs system is also a factor. I would guess that the Brewers threw many more pitches in the zone than any other team against the Cubs. We need to keep DJ at all cost.
