Episode 11 – The Hunt for October

Kyle Lesniewsky joins Vineet Barot to discuss the Milwaukee Brewers and their emotionally draining, heart breaking series against the Cubs. The Brewers are right in the middle of the hunt and the duo discuss: Craig Counsell’s performance, Josh Hader’s role now and in the future and should Brewers fans really root for the Cubs in their upcomng series against the Cardinals? 

Episode 10 – Trade Season Begins

Host Vineet Barot is joined by BP Milwaukee writer Paul Noonan to discuss the Brewers current state a few days before the trade deadline and discuss such questions as: What kind of moves should the Brewers make? Is rental pitching help acceptable or should they try to get Sonny Gray from the Oakland A’s? Why didn’t any of the Brewers play in the all star game? 

The podcast ends with a little rant from Paul about the newest version of RBI baseball and some group therapy to console Brewers fans about the recent losing streak. 

Episode 9 – God

Eric Thames’ Korean Nickname of God was certainly applicable in the month of April. Host Vineet Barot and BP Milwaukee writer Kyle Lesniewsky discussed Thames’ hot month and how it looks to be indication of true talent rather than a fluky month. They also discuss Domingo Santana’s underlying numbers and how they continue to look decent. The Brewers pitching staff has been disappointing but that’s no reason to panic and trade for Ryan Braun. 

Episode 8 – Brewers 2017 Opening Day Preview

BP Milwaukee managing editor, Nicholas Zettel, joins host Vineet Barot for a preview of the Milwaukee Brewers 2017 season. The episode covers three main topics: 1) Where is the team along its current rebuild path, 2) How did the off-season go? and 3) A preview of the opening day roster, which players to look out for and whether they will be part of the championship Brewers team of the future.
